There are some things your character is just gonna notice right off the bat about Zevran. He's meant to be striking in appearance and tends to trade on that, not bothering to hide the following features about himself. But Dragon Age: Origins is a game with horrible graphics that make for unclear, grainy icons. So, here, have this post.
So, Zevran's
Everything here is something your character can notice without infomodding me at all. They're all things that would be immediately obvious to anyone meeting him in person or hearing his voice, respectively. I have tried to make it obvious in some logs and threads when possible, but after a point, I will forget. Thus! This post.

(And for the particularly savvy, yes, I know the elf design was retconned in DA2, but it was retconned again for DA:I and at this point I'm just sticking to how he looks in DA:O until someone apps a DA2 elf character and then I'll just talk to them and figure it out ok ok.)
So, Zevran's
• an elf.
This means he has pointed ears, and is slightly shorter than average adult male humans by about a head or so. As an example, when talking to male characters in the game, he has to look up. For adult human women, he's about on eye-level with them. Anyway, the shortness thing isn't a huge deal, but the pointed ears definitely, well, point to him being an elf. It is always safe to assume Zevran's ears are clearly visible unless I directly state otherwise.
• tan.
He's clearly meant to be a shade or two darker than the white characters in the game he's from. Your character can make of this what they will, or won't, whatever. It's just relevant to mention.
• got facial tattoos.
Closeup reference here! It also shows you what his ears look like up close.
• got an accent.
An accent he never bothers to hide, and, if anything, plays up a bit when it suits him. Here's a video of what it sounds like. It's supposed to sound vaguely Spanish / Italian, but your character can pick up on that as you see fit.
