So, to keep this brief: this is a basic rough outline for what happens in DA:O. It's not super necessary to know all of this for the purposes of Zevran's app, but it's good, I think, to just have a general overview so you guys know what I'm talking about if you're confused. Mind you, these details aren't extremely important to the app.

I basically have them up here so I can keep them straight, and you can, if necessary, tell if I'm not being consistent with the facts of Zevran's potentially multiple choice past. Basically what I'm saying is, you don't have to 100% understand what I'm talking about below, if you're not familiar with Dragon Age, but in case I fuck up later there will be evidence that I've fucked up.

• The Warden in this particular version of events was a female Brosca, or, a female casteless Dwarf from Orzammar.
• At the Circle of Magi, Brosca refused to enact the Rite of Constripction, saving the Circle of Magi herself. She later used the Circle's friendship to save Connor and Isolde at Redcliffe.
• Zevran did not participate in these events, as he hadn't joined their group yet. He joined after Connor's possession was ended.
• At this point, Zevran then attempted to kill Brosca and her companions, and failed. He then pledged his service and loyalty to Brosca in return for his life, and fought alongside her for the rest of the Blight. Zevran bore witness, indirectly or not, to all the events after this point.
• After Zevran was recruited, Brosca went to the Dalish elves in the Brecilian Forest. Brosca managed to convince Zathrian to put the curse aside and let himself die; Zevran witnessed this first-hand.
• Afterward, Brosca retrieved the Urn of Sacred Ashes, refusing to take part in the ancient blood ritual of Haven.
• Brosca went to Orzammar next, where she backed Bhelen for the throne, and destroyed the Anvil of the Void.
• In Denerim, Zevran fought alongside Brosca and her companions, refusing to betray them when the Crows tried to lure him back.
• It can be assumed that Brosca maxed out her approval with all of her companions, did the necessary companion quests, and gave them the necessary gifts.
• During this, Brosca romanced Alistair, and put Anora on the throne of Ferelden to conclude the succession crisis.
• Brosca then went off to continue being a Warden with Alistair.
• Afterward, Zevran left Ferelden with the intention of killing off the Antivan Crows.
